Clearing your browser's cache is one of the most effective first steps when troubleshooting display issues or unexpected behavior on the Visiting Media platform. Your browser stores temporary files to help pages load faster, but those files can sometimes conflict with recent platform updates. Clearing them ensures you're seeing the most current version.
Try the Keyboard Shortcut First
If you're using Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Internet Explorer, you can open the cache-clearing menu directly with a keyboard shortcut:
Windows/PC: Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete
After clearing, close your browser completely and reopen it before returning to the platform.

If Clearing Cache Doesn't Resolve the Issue
If you're still experiencing problems after clearing your cache, the next step is to clear your cookies. Keep in mind that clearing cookies will sign you out of websites across your browser — make sure you have your login credentials handy before proceeding.
⚠️ Heads up: Clearing cookies will log you out of all websites in your browser, not just the Visiting Media platform. Have your passwords ready before you continue.
To clear cookies, follow the same steps for your browser above, but this time check Cookies and other site data (or the equivalent option) instead of — or in addition to — cached files.
If the issue persists after clearing both cache and cookies, contact our support team and we'll help you troubleshoot further.
