This guide answers your questions about the upcoming changes to our platform's web addresses (URLs) and what you need to know as we migrate to our new experience.
What domains are changing?
As part of the rollout of the new SalesHub experience, we are migrating our primary application domain:
- New Dashboard Login: You will now access your account and manage your properties at visitingmedia.com/app.
- New Shared Links: Any new tours, assets, or experiences you share from the new platform will generate links starting with visitingmedia.com/app.
- Help Center: Our support documentation is now at visitingmediasupport.zendesk.com/hc/en-us. Bookmark this URL for quick access to help articles, troubleshooting guides, and feature documentation.
What's staying exactly the same?
Your existing tour links continue working without interruption. Event planners and prospects can still access any legacy TrueTour links (e.g., truetour.app/... or visitme.co/...) you've previously shared—No need to resend links or update content. Behind the scenes, we automatically route those visitors to the correct experience. Any printed QR codes pointing to your existing tours will also continue to scan and route correctly.
All your property data, assets, and tours transfer seamlessly. Your Asset Library, custom experiences, analytics history, and user accounts remain intact and accessible at your new login location.
System Emails: For the time being, automated system emails and notifications (like share receipts or account alerts) will continue to arrive from @truetour.app addresses. This is expected and secure.
Do I need to take any action?
For most users: No action required. You can simply start using the new visitingmedia.com/app URL to log in. You can also always access your dashboard by clicking the "Login" button at the top right of the main visitingmedia.com website. Your credentials remain exactly the same. If you accidentally visit the old truetour.app address, we will automatically redirect you to the new platform once your property has been migrated.
For IT teams managing network security: If your organization uses strict domain allowlists or firewall rules to control web access, you may need to add visitingmedia.com and auth.visitingmedia.com to your approved domains list. This ensures the platform and login process load correctly on your corporate network without security restrictions. See our domain allowlist configuration guide for technical implementation details.
What if I bookmarked the old URL?
While we will automatically redirect you from the old truetour.app URLs, we highly recommend updating your browser bookmarks to visitingmedia.com/app for the fastest and most reliable access to your dashboard.
Will I need to log in again?
If you are already actively logged into the legacy platform (truetour.app) or our beta environment (beta.truetour.app), your secure session will seamlessly carry over to the new domain. You will not be prompted to re-enter your password during the initial redirect.
Note for Password Managers: If you use a tool like 1Password, LastPass, Apple Keychain, or your browser's built-in password saver, your manager is tied to the old domain. If your session expires and you are prompted to log in at visitingmedia.com/app in the future, you may need to manually search your password manager for your "TrueTour" or "SalesHub" credentials the first time. Once entered, your manager will prompt you to save them for visitingmedia.com.
What happens to tours shared before the domain change?
Nothing changes for tour recipients. The links you've already shared with event planners, prospects, and clients continue working exactly as they did before. If the property has been migrated to the new experience, the link will automatically and invisibly route the viewer to the new, upgraded viewing experience.
Do I need to update embedded tours on my website?
No website updates are required. Embedded tours on your property website, OTA listings, and third-party platforms will continue displaying correctly without any changes to your embed codes or integration settings. Our technology handles the transition automatically.
What if I'm working with IT security software like URL Defense?
Some corporate IT departments use security tools (like Proofpoint) that scan web links before allowing access. Because our new shared links will use the visitingmedia.com domain, they should pass through standard security checks smoothly. If your clients report issues accessing links, it is normal behavior for strict corporate networks; they may need to click through an additional security verification screen provided by their IT department. For detailed guidance on navigating security checks, see our URL Defense troubleshooting article.
Where can I get help if I have login issues after the transition?
Contact our support team immediately if you experience access issues after your transition date. We're monitoring all transitions closely and can quickly resolve any login problems, password resets, or account access questions.
What's the benefit of this domain structure?
Consolidating our application under visitingmedia.com/app unifies our brand presence and positions us to deliver faster performance, enhanced security, and seamless navigation between our marketing site and the SalesHub platform.
