How Space Thumbnails Work in the Visiting Media Platform

Spaces now display clean, professional thumbnails instead of unideal placeholder icons, keeping your content organized and presentation-ready.

What You'll See with the New Default Thumbnail

When you create or open a space, the Visiting Media platform automatically displays a default thumbnail. This replaces the previous unsupported asset icon, so every diagram looks polished in your property's asset list without any action required from you.

The default thumbnail ensures visual consistency while you decide whether a property-specific image would better represent the space for your sales team.

Upload a Custom Thumbnail

Replace the default with an image to help your team quickly identify specific floor plans or room layouts:

1. Select Spaces from the left navigation.

   

2. Locate the space you want to update and open it.
3. Select replace image. 
4. Choose an existing image.
5. Save your changes.

Your new thumbnail appears immediately in the spaces list and helps your sales team find the right floor plan when preparing for prospect presentations.

Tip: Strong thumbnails make it faster to locate specific layouts when you're building tours or responding to RFP requests under tight deadlines.
