How to Add Your Tour to Teneo

Follow these steps to create and submit your tour for Teneo integration:

Step 1: Build Your Tour

If you have Plus tier:

1. Log into your Visiting Media platform account
2. Navigate to your Asset Library
3. Select your most comprehensive immersive asset
   • Typically a 3D model of your connected meeting space for event-focused listings
   • Or your signature property asset for overview listings

If you have Pro tier:

1. Log into your Visiting Media platform account
2. Open the Builder
3. Create a multi-asset tour aligned with your featured segment:
   • Meeting & Event Spaces: 360s, 3D models, and CGI setups
   • Accommodations: 3D models for suites, 360s for standard rooms
   • Property Overview: 360s, 3D models, aerial 360s
4. Arrange assets to match your narrative and key selling points
5. Name your tour: Distribution - Teneo - Virtual Tour
6. Open tour settings and configure:
   • Menus: Hidden
   • Property Info Card: Disabled
   • Digital Business Card: Disabled
7. Lock the tour

Pro tip: Since Teneo allows multiple links, consider creating separate specialized tours (one for meetings, one for accommodations) to enhance your offerings. Simply repeat these steps for each tour type.

Step 2: Copy Your Tour Link

For Plus tier (single asset):

1. Open the asset in your Asset Library
2. Click the dropdown arrow next to Channel Distribution
3. Click the Copy button next to Link

For Pro tier (multi-asset tour):

1. Click the Share icon on your tour
2. Click Copy

Step 3: Submit for Teneo Distribution

1. Email your finalized tour link(s) to your Customer Success Manager
2. In your email, specify that you're requesting Teneo distribution
3. Visiting Media’s Support Team can helpl coordinate with the Teneo digital content team for placement. 
4. Once placed, your tour will appear on your digital listing, visible to planners and internal sellers

Note: The placement process is handled through coordination between Visiting Media’s Support Team and Teneo. You don't need direct access to the Teneo platform.

Lead with your strongest assets: Choose your most impressive immersive asset—first impressions matter when planners are comparing properties.

Update regularly: As you add new assets or refresh content, let your Visiting Media Support know so they can update your Teneo links.

Ensure Your Tours Load Properly

To make sure your tours work seamlessly when planners access them through Teneo, work with your IT team to allowlist approved domains:

Full allowlist: View complete list of recommended domains

This prevents network filters from blocking or slowing down your immersive experiences.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

My tour link isn't working:

• Double-check that you copied the complete URL
• Verify your tour is not in draft mode (Pro tier)
• Confirm tour settings are configured correctly (menus hidden, cards disabled)

My tour hasn't appeared on Teneo yet:

• Confirm Visiting Media’s Support Team received your email with the tour link
• Allow time for coordination between Visiting Media’s Support Team and Teneo's digital content team

I need to update my tour:

• For Pro tier: Edit your tour in the Builder, then send the updated link to Visiting Media’s Support Team. 
• For Plus tier: Replace the asset and send the new link to Visiting Media’s Support Team. 
• Visiting Media’s Support Team can help coordinate the update with Teneo

Planners report slow loading:

• Verify approved domains are allowlisted with your IT team
• Check that your assets are optimized (contact Support if needed)
